A professional image is a requirement for successful participation in school. Future Professionals must maintain the following professional dress code:
- Future Professionals may wear black, white or gray clothing in any combination. Clothes must be professional, clean, free of odors and wrinkles. Clothing may be patterned in these colors only.
- Closed toe and closed heel shoes, in any color may be worn. Shoes should be professional, practical and comfortable.
- Hair should be styled and any cosmetics should be applied prior to clocking in for the school day.
- Name tags provided by the school are required to be worn while attending school.
- Stylish hats, scarves and stylish head wraps of any color may be worn.
- Skirts, skorts, shorts, dresses, jumpers and rompers that are no higher than four (4) inches above the knee may be worn. If the garment is higher than 4 inches above the knee, opaque tights or leggings must be worn underneath.
- Shirts, tops and blouses may not bare shoulders, midriff (belly) and lower back.
- Sweatshirts, T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, and/or jackets may be worn if the print and colors of the garment are black, white or gray.
- If leggings or tight fitting shorts are worn, they must be worn with a top that is at least fingertip length to fully cover the front and back of the future professional wearing it.
- Colorful accessories may be worn.
- Proper undergarments must be worn at all times.
The following is a list of unacceptable dress for all Future Professionals while attending the school:
- Sleeveless dresses, tank tops or spaghetti strap tops, tube tops, belly revealing shirts/crop tops.
- Sweatpants that are cotton, pajama material pants/bottoms.
- Biking shorts.
- Spandex unitards.
- Baseball caps, beanies, visors.
- Sunglasses.
- Clothing may not contain political, messages or profanity. If a logo is printed on a garment – it must be smaller than a dollar bill.
- If bottoms have rips, tears, or holes, they must fall below the fingertips of the future professional wearing it.
Future Professionals who fail to comply with the Future Professional Dress code will be asked to clock out and return dressed appropriately.
Future Professionals who fail to comply with the Future Professional dress code may be coached and may receive an advisory.
